The Bristol Knights defeated East Windsor on Wednesday night, 12-5. The game started very rocky for Kyle Faust who was having trouble finding the strike zone and walked a bunch of guys. The Knights gave up 5 runs in that first inning, but then responded with 4 runs themselves in the bottom of the frame. From there, Kyle and the defense held the East Windsor bats in check, and didn’t allow another run. The Knights had many big offensive performances including Rex Cone who had a big game with 3 hits, and Eddie Dickman who hit a Home Run to tie the game at 5. It was a great comeback win for the Knights, who knocked East Windsor into the elimination bracket.

The Knights now face the Willimantic Ridges tonight  (THU) 8pm at Mt. Nebo. If we win tonight, we are in the finals next Wednesday at Willimantic. If we lose, we play Tuesday in Willimantic. We will be down a few more guys tonight, so be there around 7:30, and ready to play.
