A great game last night at Bristol Eastern High School. Lucas Nickerson threw 5 strong innings and took charge early. Rex Cone came in relief to close out the last 2 innings without allowing a run. Chris Taylor hit the ball well, including his first home run of the year in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Paul Franceschi continues to hit the ball well with a multi-hit game. This was the first game in a while for Shawn Ferguson who made a fantastic defensive play at short to end the game… welcome back Fergie. Also welcome back to Justin Kilker, who played his first game since early June… welcome back Justin too.

This win knocked Elmer’s out of 1st in the division, which is now lead by the Indians. We are currently 3rd.
