What a great game… wow.

Bullet points of the action:

• Chris Dickens hits big Sac Fly to put us on the board.

• Rex Cone throws great, and all 8 innings

• Chris Taylor orchestrates HUGE (probably play of the game) pick off play with Rex with bases loaded, 2 outs, and the best Willimantic hitter at the plate… inning over

• Our infield defense is fantastic, with great play by Shawn Ferguson, Ron Pezzullo, and Chris Taylor on a slick infield… and our outfield (Chris Dickens, Justin Kilker, Erik Michaels) makes all the tough plays playing on a rain soaked and partially fog cloud enveloped outfield

• Scott Dickens gets huge RBI base hit to put the Knights up off of the lefty Pete Moulin.

• Rex gives up solo HR to tie the game… a bomb

• Justin Kilker goes yard in the top of the 8th, a 2-run HR that puts us up for good.

• Rex closes out the Ridges… throwing 8 innings and around 120 pitches (holy crap…rest the arm man… nice job)
