In the jewel of our schedule… the Bristol Knights travel down to Dodd Stadium in Norwich to take on in-division rivals, Elmer’s in a neutral site battle. The Knights games will start approximately around 8-8:30pm, as it is the second game of the Manchester Twilight League double header.
This is a great game to have the family / friends come watch. Join us… it should be fun.
Info for our Knights players…
Players, get there as early as possibly, as we will have access to the visitors clubhouse and other perks. We will have a lot of guys, but will employ some creative defensive lineups and substitutions to keep everyone involved the whole game.
The visitor clubhouse (3rd base side) and batting cage will be available for you that day starting no earlier than 4:30pm with the start of the first game at 6:00pm. Unfortunately the concession stands will not be open that night due to a staffing conflict. The Tigers staff will put our logos up on the big screen. All teams can use the visitors’ clubhouse to change and get ready for their game. 4:30 is the earliest you can arrive and I suggest you get there as soon as possible, I (Scott) will probably be there around 6. To enter the clubhouse, go to the left of the offices which are left of the box office. Players entrance door will be open. Feel free to bring food to eat in clubhouse as there’s a kitchen and table and couch, TV, etc. But of course clean up after yourselves.
To get to dugout from clubhouse go down the stairs and it leads to the tunnel. No need to go out thru the stands and down to the field… use the tunnel.
There’s only 1 cage and its in the first base dugout. To get to the cages…go in the first base dugout and up the stairs. You have to get there thru the stands down the rf line and climb into the dugout. The visitors clubhouse doesn’t connect to the home one.
They should be able to do walkup music for our guys, and I (Scott) will provide music/a list to them. As always be VERY friendly and nice to everyone there. Have a great time!!
Come down and have fun. See you there.
